Some diners find the ordering system a little confusing; guests must write their orders on a ticket before proceeding to pay at the till. While this system promotes efficiency, it can catch first-time visitors off guard. The location has limited indoor seating, and during peak hours, it can quickly fill up. Additionally, parking in the area can be a bit tight, requiring some guests to plan accordingly or arrive early to avoid undue stress. A few have noted that the upstairs toilets, while clean, require navigating a set of stairs, which might pose challenges for some patrons.
I've been to Vietnam a couple of times and this place transports me straight back. Very authentic Vietnamese food. We started with the salt&pepper squid and spring rolls. My friend had some Bun Bo and said it was rich and flavourful. I took the waitress's recommendation and ordered the Bun Cha Ha Noi, and I'm glad I listened. The portion was big and the patties had a lovely chargrilled taste to them. Would 100% recommend. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The décor was also very charming, it gave the restaurant a lovely homey feel. Viet Baguette has become one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in London. I will be coming back other dishes. Regularly.
Such a great find. Nice restaurant serving up brilliant dishes of Vietnamese food. The pork spring rolls are as good as they get, whilst my pork baguette might be the best baguette I’ve ever eaten. That’s how it’s done France…the meat broth was grand too. Strange ordering system where you pick up a menu and then write the numbered dish on a ticket before handing it to the waitress at the till. Pay before eating. There is a nice looking garden out the back. One of the very best places to eat in Woolwich.
The pho and banh mi was great and priced well for the portion size. Lovely welcoming staff, saw them bring a heater out for an old couple when we were there and they explained what everything was. Also got a discount for paying in cash.
I regularly eat from here and buy fresh juice! The food is really good here and cannot forget the lovely service especially by Karuna, Salina & Winter! Always smiling and very welcoming.
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in London, we’ve been. You can get most of the typical Vietnamese food here. You write down what you would like to order on a note Pad at the table and take it to the tail to pay for your food. You get 10% discount. If you pay by cash the environment is nice and I have a small garden area toilets are located downstairs. The staff are helpful and friendly. You can help yourself with tap water at the table. The starter are quite big so if you’re not too hungry you can order as a main course. Nearby street parking is about £2.50 an hour. We had a enjoyable afternoon here.
Another visit update - great service as always. Food was tasty too. We ordered via the new system, writing down our order using a pen and small pad on the table then taking this up to the till for payment. Staff were very nice and friendly. Food tasted good but seems much pricier than before. We had a great time.
Great food! Very healthy options available and very quick service ! Tried chicken salad and grilled chicken with rice. Food was delicious and well cooked. Ambience was also very nice.
Viet Baguette offers an array of must-try dishes. Don't skip the Pho Chay or Pho Tai for a hearty experience. If you're feeling adventurous, try their Bánh xèo, a crispy Vietnamese pancake, or the Bun cha, which is a delicious grilled pork dish. For dessert, the Che 3 Mau is a delightful sweet treat.
